Current Practice
2023-present
My current practice centres on drawing people — particularly self-portraiture, faces and figures — as a way of looking closely at identity, expression and how we understand ourselves and one another. I work primarily through drawing, alongside painting, words, books and intimate objects. Drawing is now my primary language, carrying forward concerns developed through earlier work in installation, sound, moving image and digital media.
