Education

I’m interested in helping people use art as a way of looking more closely, thinking more deeply, and engaging more meaningfully with the world around them.

Teaching & Workshops

I teach practical skills in drawing, creative software and digital making, and I design workshops that give people clear ways to experiment, learn and build confidence. I’m interested in teaching that is accessible, inclusive, meaningful, and grounded in “learn by doing”.

Looking, Talking & Making

I’m interested in helping people use art as a way of looking more closely, thinking more deeply, and engaging more meaningfully with the world around them. Through tours, conversations, and participatory activities, I want people to feel able to join a dialogue about art and form their own responses rather than worry about getting art “right”.

Writing

kelise72.com — my ongoing journal of exhibitions, artists, books and events.

I write about exhibitions, artists, books and events as a way of slowing down and working out what I think. Much of this writing lives at kelise72.com, an ongoing archive of looking, questioning and learning from art.
