#kelisestudiosneakpeek : Trying a new watercolour palette
Even though the online drawing development year ODDY has concluded, It seems I’m still inspired by the lessons from “Drawing Meets Words” course with @royaldrawingschool and spend the last hour or so trying to compose a text response to the little book I made last week which was itself a visual response to a poem by Sasha Dugdale… this could go on forever or until I find a new hyper-focus…
Spent my lunch break with a bit of drop-in life drawing @royaldrawingschool with their #rdslivestudio series. Totally recommend this brilliant way to recharge yourself in the middle of the work day with a bit of creative practice.
We studied rocks today in #artschool

Today’s art fun was creating a mixed media/collage to respond to a poem “Ten Moons” by Sasha Dugdale, then cut and fold into a small book which I can fold this way and that to explore new possible composition ideas…
This week in #artschool - one more week to go and I feel even more out of sorts in some ways than I did in January! I have a feeling this is going to take some months to resolve many of the ideas that I’ve inhaled the last 11 months… phew!
Today’s activity in my studio was to build a poem then respond visually to that poem… which resulted in a visual poem of sorts…
Today in art class we drew from the model for a bit with the idea to make a sculpture from the drawings…
